MedsIndia.in Return policy, Refund, Cancellation and Shipping Policy

The team at MedsIndia.in (owned by Akana Technologies Pvt Ltd) strives to process correctly the products ordered by the customers with accurate inspection of the prescription and endeavours to deliver the prescription medicines and other healthcare products in suitable condition without any damage each time a customer places an order. We also recommend that the customer checks the items ordered at the time of delivery.

Following are the conditions under which a return request may occur: -

The products delivered by us do not match the order placed by you;

The products delivered by us are past or short expiry products (medicines with an expiry date of less than 3 months are considered as short expiry);

The products delivered were damaged in transit (we strongly advise not to accept deliveries if the seal has been tampered with);

N.B. If the product received by you appears to be damaged / the seal tampered with, please do not accept delivery of the product. If however you have opened the package and ascertain the product (s) are damaged, this will qualify for a refund. Although, we cannot guarantee a full replacement for all products, we will try our level best to meet your needs by minimising inconvenience caused to you.

In the unlikely situation of a return / refund that should occur, we would be happy to be of assistance and resolve your concern at the earliest. You can raise a return request by contacting our customer care department within 7 days of delivery of the product. MedsIndia.in reserves the right to cancel the return request, if the customer approaches MedsIndia.in after 7 days of delivery.

Once the return / refund request has been successfully received, MedsIndia.in will verify the genuineness and the type of the request. Once the request has been verified MedsIndia.in will initiate the return / refund process. Please note: any malicious and unfair complaints regarding the quality or content of any product (s), the customer will face legal action and all costs borne by MedsIndia.in will be the sole liability of the customer.

Following are the conditions under which returns will be accepted: -

Any incorrect ordering does not qualify for a return;

The batch numbers of the product(s) should match the batch numbers mentioned on the invoice;

Any return / refund requests occurring from a change in prescription do not qualify for a return;

The product (s) being returned should be in their original packaging as received by the customer with their original price tags, labels, barcodes, and original invoice;

Partially consumed items or products do not qualify for a return / refund, only unopened strips/blisters or packages or products can be returned.

Certain categories of products are marked as non-returnable on the individual product page and shall not under any circumstance qualify for a return / refund as per MedsIndia.in return policy.

The details of such product (s) are mentioned below: -

All food items including perishable and non- perishable. This will also include baby food and baby milk.

All personal use items such as diapers and condoms.

Return Process: -

  1. For return intimation, please visit www.medsindia.in/help or you may also call us on toll free number 18001033688 from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, except bank/gazetted holidays.
  2. Our customer care team will authenticate the claim made by the consumer and revert within 48 hours from the time of receipt of the complaint except for the complaints received on Saturday which will be responded within 72 hours maximum.
  3. Once the claim is authenticated to be genuine, MedsIndia.in will initiate the collection of product (s) to be returned.
  4. The customer is required to package the product (s) in the original packaging as received from us.
  5. The refund process will be completed within 30 days from the date of authentication of the claim.

Please note that in all the above-mentioned scenarios, if the claim made by the customer is found to be valid, the refund will be made as per the following: -

  1. Order placed through online wallet will be refunded to the wallet.
  2. Orders placed through Cash on Delivery will be refunded through bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to the customer’s bank account.
  3. Orders placed through credit/debit cards will be refunded by crediting the credit/debit card account.
  4. Orders placed through online payments (NEFT/RTGS) will be refunded through bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to the customer’s bank account.
