Dapoxetine is administered for treating post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and phobia.
Artemether is an antimalarial drug administered for the treatment of malaria (Plasmodium falciparum virus born) which is resistant to multiple antimalarial drugs. This drug is advised along with another antimalarial drug called lumefantrine for treating certain strains of drug resistant malaria.
The most common side effects of this drug are nausea, headache, indigestion, insomnia, running nose, sleeping for unusually long periods, nervousness, diarrhoea, dizziness, and upper respiratory tract infection.
The most common side effects of this drug are numbness, difficulty in speaking, dizziness, difficulty in swallowing, shortness of breath, facial swelling including lip swelling, fainting, hoarseness of voice, muscle cramp, loss of appetite, skin rash, itching, tachycardia, weakness, or fatigue.
Dapoxetine administration is contraindicated in patients having conditions such as hepatic insufficiency (child B + C); severe renal insufficiency; cardiac diseases; depression or psychiatric medication, including treatment with MAO inhibitors, SSRIs, or thioridazine.
Artemether/lumefantrine is administered to treat specific types of malaria in adults and children weighing at least 5 kgs.
